Welcome to Songs2Inspire.

My name is Bertie Meyer, and I am grateful that you have taken the time to visit this website.

For many years I have had the privilege of serving God through ministry, teaching, music and photography. Along the way I have discovered that some of life's deepest lessons are learned not only in churches and classrooms, but also in the quiet places where we slow down enough to notice God's presence.

Songs2Inspire was born from a simple desire—to encourage people through God's Word, meaningful music and the beauty of His creation.

Over the years I have served in Christian ministry in South Africa and New Zealand, and later worked as a teacher in both South Africa and New Zealand. Although I have only recently settled in Australia, my prayer is that this website will continue the journey God has been leading throughout my life.

My academic background includes university degrees, postgraduate theological studies and additional professional qualifications. I am thankful for those opportunities, but I have learned that knowledge is most valuable when it helps ordinary people understand God's love more clearly and trust Him more deeply.

Everything you find on this website reflects my personal understanding of the Christian faith. My purpose is not to argue or impress, but to encourage. Whether through a worship song, a sermon summary, a short devotion, a wildlife photograph or a simple bookmark, I hope each resource points beyond itself to Jesus Christ.

I have always loved photography because it reminds me that creation quietly speaks about its Creator. A sunrise, an elephant caring for its calf, the song of a bird or the stillness of a river can all remind us of God's faithfulness and His care for the world He has made.

All the resources on this website are freely shared to encourage individuals, families and churches. If something here strengthens your faith, gives you hope, or helps you see God's goodness in a fresh way, then Songs2Inspire has fulfilled its purpose.
